Sitting atop a beautiful lakeshore property, Mission West engages daily lake life through expansive views and indoor/outdoor connections throughout. The house stretches out along the shoreline, allowing the entire home to feel tangibly tied to the water. Simple, expansive roof planes cap a series of projected forms that project and recede along the elongated footprint to create a series of connected and complimentary outdoor spaces - reaching out to the south light and dramatic west-facing sunsets. These forms are reinforced with a thoughtful use of rich shiplap cedar cladding and soffits, carefully articulated metal/steel elements and expansive glass.
