Brian has more than 20 years of experience working on a variety of residential and commercial project types.  Prior to co-founding BellCraft Architects, he worked with design firms in Seattle, Chicago and North Carolina, along the way developing a deep appreciation for the unique design vernacular that is particular to a place.  With an artistic background in sculpture and illustration, Brian was drawn to architecture as a vehicle for creative expression.  He couples that creativity with strong technical and project management skills to help clients realize their project aspirations.  Brian is committed to excellent design that is both responsive to the clients' needs and beneficial to the broader community.

Brian is a licensed architect and holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington.  When he's not busy designing buildings, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, backpacking in the Cascades, and watching his beloved Seattle Sounders win.
